I can't recommend this place enough! Everyone at the salon is so welcoming and accommodating. The owner, Susi, treats all her customers like family and keeps the place very clean and up to date, always offering new polish colors. I have been going to Adriana for over 10 years now and when I found out she started working at Chic Beauty Bar, I had to try it out. I am very particular so it is hard for me to find someone who I trust with my nails. Adriana is so talented and I never have any complaints! She is very busy so I recommend booking in advance. Dayana is AMAZING at pedicures and massages! Highly recommend this place to everyone.

I wanted to like it here SO badly. I really really tried to give these hard working women the benefit of the doubt and everything, but I cant say I'm in love, impressed, or even like my nails. Don't get me wrong, the women who worked on my full gel set were SO sweet and so accommodating. But I just spent $95 + tip for nails that look just okay. My right hand isn't bad at all! It's the left hand that looks so thick and mis-shaped (bigger on the top). But im hoping the pretty design distracts my eyes from it. Also, my nails kept getting the painful "heat spike" EACH TIME I put my nail under the UV lamp (for the 1st coat of acrylic gel), which I looked up and found out the cause is because of too much gel in one layer. I am so impressed by the talented nail technician that did my nails this past Saturday. I forgot to ask for her name but she honestly gave me the most outstanding powder manicure I've ever gotten. She did not drill on my natural nail (which is the biggest deal breaker to me- I left the previous salon that I've been going to for the past 4 years biweekly, for this reason. They began viciously drilling on my nails to remove dip powder as well as to buff my nails). Before finding chic beauty bar I had been to multiple salons on the search for a great nail studio in Essex County, and I’m so glad I stopped in here. I’ve been coming to this nail salon for the past six months, and it’s become my go-to spot. Adriana is amazing—she’s patient and detailed in her work to always make my nails look flawless, and the pedicures are great too. My nails stay looking great for weeks.
