Cheri African Hair Braiding

Absolute worst !!! I made an appoint for my daughter for Saturday at 3pm. We arrive on time for her appointment and the owner Cheri explains that they are too busy and advises us to come back at 6:30. I explain that I made her appointment several days in advance- no matter. Come later. We arrive back at 6:30, there is still no one available and we are asked to sit down for a few minutes. Almost 2 hours later my daughter is escorted to a chair where she sits alone for 30 more minutes. We explain again what she wants - small knotless with boho, chest length. This braider attempts to quote me a price way more expensive than what we were quotes on the phone- I say no. We were quoted when I made her appointment. The owner steps in and chats with her privately - she starts braiding. FINALLY. Fa

I’ve never had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming for about a year now. Miss Chris is super nice and respectful. Today I got boho braids and they did a beautiful job. The stylist who did my hair opened the salon and ensured everyone and everything was cared for before miss Cheri arrived. She was professional, friendly and efficient. She was also very well spoken. Their prices are fair and they really try to make everyone feel welcomed.

Hello o just had a appointment last week my experience was very nice the women who did my hair was very nice and sweet and gental handed I love my hair the only issue I have is that the starting of my boho knotless is not what I expected! They started it off with my real hair instead of using weave! I’m a braider so I’m aware that when u start it off like that the braids don’t last! Also my boho hair was falling out as soon as I got in the car when I ran my hands through it I b live it was just shedding from the bundles but no my boho hair keeps constantly falling out! But the staff was very nice and sweet!

Disappointed After My Third Visit I’ve visited this salon three times, and while the first two experiences were fine, this last visit was extremely disappointing. I called ahead and was quoted $160 for large knotless braids. When I arrived, the price suddenly jumped to $260—without explanation. I’ve paid $280 before for small braids down to my waist, so this didn’t make sense. The braider seemed unhappy and rushed through the job. Toward the end, they used only five packs of hair and refused to open another, which led to uneven braid sizes. I overheard them discussing this in their native language, assuming I wouldn’t understand. Apparently, customers are expected to buy extra hair after five packs—but this policy isn’t posted anywhere or mentioned upfront. I was also told that large braid

I bought human hair kinky hair Emily did my hair and it just didn't come out right!!! It started falling out the very next day but its because of the technique that I asked for so this is no shade to her. What made this place a great place was that I contacted Cheri And she told me, just come on in and we'll take care of it. And they did, and I went from looking like a mess to absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much. They are kind, sweet and really good people. And i'm so grateful for them helping me.
