C Foy Tonsorial Parlor

Wow! An amazing experience. Nothing like a barber shop. I learned a lot about being a Tonsorial aka “A Barber Surgeon”. Mr. Foy took an amazing amount of time to get to know me and understand my goal with my beard. He explained what he saw and made recommendations to get me where I want it to be. He is an interesting person to get to know. Price is higher than a traditional barber but the experience, education and conversation make it well worth the price. Definitely looking forward to my next experience with Mr. Foy and his Tonsorial Parlor!

Took my son in for a cut and beard trim, he's been throwing out his hair and learning his beard. Mr. Foy's space is so warm and inviting, and he is a master of his craft. He listens, suggests, knows what he's doing .. we would be regulars if we lived here!

I had never had a straight razor shave in my life and Mr. Foy was spectacular in the time, attention and explanation of the process from start to finish. I was impressed through the entire process. Definitely an artist in what he does and proprietor in maintaining the history of straight razor shaving.

We called and emailed to make an appointment. No answer, no reply... Also, I went to the shop... There was a sign on the door... " will return at 3p." Arrived at 2:45 and waited until 3:15.

A one of a kind experience that vastly exceeded my expectations. A real treat!
