After getting an unsatisfactory hair color at another salon, i decided to go to Bowie to get my hair trimmed and curtain bangs done. I'd been growing out my bangs for 4 months. The lady that was doing my hair, i had great conversation with. I showed her my reference photos and explained that I put my hair up for work and would like cute curtain bangs. My hair is in layers and has a V shape at the ends of my hair, she says she'll cut like 1.5 inch from the bottom which I agree to. When we finished i liked the way it looked at the salon but when I went home to play around and take a closer look at my hair, I was quite disappointed because my face framing was uneven, not as seamless as I'd hoped and harder to work with than before I went in for the cut. Also the bottom of my hair was now a bl

PS I updated with screenshots of convo and receipt !!! Since they said they don’t have me in the system, I want to be sure to highlight heaven forbid a gal travel. Also the cashier on the receipt is Scott — thank you! Have a nice day Hi -- first I want to say that I really understand everyone has bad days, and that the make up artist was doing her absolute best...I understand that, and she was so sweet, the only issue is she had absolutely no idea what to do / how to do makeup. We chit chatted and we were easily having a nice time -- she apologized for being an hour late -- she also apologized for ignoring my texts before the appointment requesting information on the products she would use since I have bourgeois skin :D and I could easily bring my stage make up. I had hand surgery and doi

I went to Danielle once in the beginning of July 2024, she did my hair just fine I was happy with it. I went to her again in mid-November 2024 as I was planning my first ever vacation & wanted to ensure my hair had 2 weeks to grow out before leaving for Hawaii so my hair would not be too fresh & choppy (how it goes of course). She absolutely botched my bangs in November, and while I did get upset with a few tears falling down, I kept myself best composed while talking to her letting her know I was simply unhappy with the bangs as they were lopsided & choppy, and as that I had previously explained to her- a very important haircut. I even reassured her that I was not upset with her for the mishap, but that I was upset about the situation & pressure of the trip. I apologized multiple times f

Kimberly A is phenomenal! I always enjoy my appointments, and leave looking and feeling great. She is very kind, does a beautiful job, and always asks questions to make sure we’re on the same page about my hair goals. She’s also been great at recommending the right products for my hair type. Overall, this salon has been a lovely experience every time so far :)

Though the work done was okay, the technique to bleach my hair was not desirable. I admit that I picked the wrong color, but the way they bleached my hair - not from the roots but half way - didn’t make the color even from the roots up. I initially booked for the main stylist, and I should’ve pushed for it even if it cost double. But it really seemed she had plans that day and was really trying her best to push for another. I learned my lesson to not settle for an alternative. That said, ended up re-coloring my hair at a salon close to theirs. (In addition, they also missed the hairline.)
