I went to this BM location to try a new scent that I was interested in. Gabby was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She is familiar with the specific top, middle, and bottom notes of multiple fragrances. She was able to suggest other scents that I might be interested in based on my preferences and was patient while I smelled and sampled multiple options. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a customized, tailored experience as you explore BM's products.

This was my first time shopping at Bluemercury, and unfortunately the experience missed the mark. While we were acknowledged at the door, there was no follow-up engagement. Instead, staff watched us closely with awkward smiles but never offered assistance or conversation. For a premium beauty retailer, especially during the holiday season, I expected a more welcoming and service-oriented experience. The atmosphere felt uncomfortable rather than helpful. I was hoping to make this a regular alternative to Sephora, but based on this visit, I wouldn’t return.

Nada Bauer works at Blue Mercury in Georgetown and specifically markets Sisley products. She is a magician. Her makeup talents are extraordinary and highly sensitive to each client and his or her needs. I am not overstating to say that she has provided me with a makeup routine that is simple and has me looking better than ever. It suits me, and I feel confident applying it. I have watched her work with clients who just walk in looking for a specific product and her suggestions are game changing for that person. People leave so contented and pleased. She is a true find. I called and because you can’t order online for in store pick up and I had a large order that needed to be picked up. Gillian was SUPER helpful walked the store coiling up my items by hand, packed and and took my card info over the phone and tossed in a ton of goodies and then I got it picked up on my way home 10/10 customer service. She was a great and made my transaction smooth.

I always get my makeup done at Blue Mercury. I have a special occasion this evening so I booked my appointment 2 weeks ago. I arrived on time for my appointment + the makeup artist was still working on another client. I waited another prepped my face. When she was finished with the other client she asked me if I was ready and I said I was ready a while ago because I came on time and I'm parked in an area where I only have an hour to park. She did not apologize. Looked a bit pissed and I decided to leave. It's supposed to be a happy occasion and when you're late, one could at least apologize and try to be friendly.
