I walked-in for a new GelX set and Mina did an amazing job. I wasn’t sure what I wanted and Mina let me take my time deciding while I prepped my nails and she did an AMAZING job. The experience was made even better by the price - it was half what I normally pay back home in the Bay Area. Highly recommend this place and Mina specifically. She took her time , made sure I was happy at each step and was the nicest. 10:10!

Blue Ocean nails is a must for self-care days. I get the gel manicures and pedicures. I'm pesky when it comes to service. Mina or Natalie are amazing. They have a meticulous process that begins with thorough removal of old gel, followed by cuticle softening, trimming, shaping, and buffing, before applying the gel base and color (2-3x), concluding with a top coat. The entire manicure seevice lasts about an hour. Pedicures are equally relaxing, enhanced by massage chairs and hot stone foot massages. I've had both mani and pedi done simultaneously. Booking an appointment is highly recommended for optimal timing.

OBSESSED!! I’ve been coming here for a year now and always go to Mina. They truly give you the royal treatment with drinks and snacks. I get so many compliments on my nails and they never disappoint.

She’s not only incredibly talented at what she does, the best at manicures!!! But she’s also one of the sweetest, friendliest people you’ll ever meet. She always makes me feel so welcome, and she’s especially kind and patient with my daughter, which means so much to me. The whole atmosphere at Blue Ocean Nails is welcoming, relaxing, and professional. You can tell they truly care about their clients and take pride in their work. I visited San Diego for a weekend getaway and decided to treat myself to a wax. Before choosing a location, I searched Google reviews, as I typically do before receiving any service. The reviews for this establishment seemed decent, so I called to inquire about pricing. The woman who answered informed me that underarm waxing was $10 and lower legs were $35 and up. I repeated the prices back to her for clarification, and she confirmed that, they were correct. She also mentioned that I needed an appointment, so I scheduled one for 4 PM, the earliest availability. When I arrived, I ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes past my appointment time.
