Blades To Fades

To Mr. Useless Narrative, I have book/reserved a hair dresser (at a different salon) and she opened up her shop for me on a Sunday to get my son's hair styled before his HS grad ceremony. THAT is good business and THAT is what made me a lifetime customer. Blades to Fades sounds dedicated, motivated, flexible, kind, and cared enough to show up for you. You should chalk this up as a misunderstanding pay them for their time and move on. Not write a scathing review about YOUR inability to make a confirmation call/text.

I booked an appointment with Darren, but the shop’s official listing said they were closed for Black Friday, so I naturally assumed the appointment wouldn’t go through. Darren messaged me saying the appointment was confirmed and then tried to charge me a $40 no-show fee because he “came in for me,” even though the business information publicly showed the shop was closed. When I explained the mix-up, he didn’t show any understanding and kept pushing the fee, acting like the confusion was my fault instead of simply acknowledging that their posted hours were wrong. It felt unprofessional and unnecessarily aggressive toward a first-time client. Because of how the situation was handled I won’t be returning.

This was my 1st.time.going to a barber instead of a salon.for a hair cut. The vibe was.so chill amd welcoming. Angel was amazing and only Slightly laughed at my not so great self fade cut. 😅 he cleaned me up and got me out the door looking great. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Eddie and the guys always doing an outstanding job. I want to thank Eddie for not only keeping me sharp but for all that he does for the youth and the community of Lincoln he’s a role model and mentor to many and has truly blessed me and my family and the community around him. If you’re in need of a cut or your kids are in need of a cut make sure you go to the best guys in town! Eddie, thank you for what you do I hope you know it does not go unnoticed!
