Beyond the Mirror

I was able to get an appointment on Christmas Eve. It started with me showing up and the shop was closed; they were late starting the appointment. The stylist I had seemed nice but inexperieneced. But the bottom line is that I asked for my hair to be colored with purple. It wasn't mentioned until AFTER the bleach was applied that there was no purple but they could combine blue, red, and a berry color to create a purple. It didn't turn out well, and after contacting the owner she seemed understanding until I asked for a refund, or even a partial refund. I didn't get an experience anywhere worth the $400+ that was spent. I couldn't see how badly the color looked until I got home and had brighter lighting. I won't be going here again or recommending it to anyone. I don't usually post reviews

Ashlie has absolutely ruined my hair, I do not recommend her for hair extensions at all. I added pictures below as you can see the placement was awful, she has caused tension alopecia which you can clearly see the bald/sore spots (above the bottom extension). Because she has caused tension alopecia she can no longer line the extensions up together, therefore she had to move my top extension further back and she let me walk out of her salon with my “root touch up” looking like that! I would not recommend going here. I booked an appointment online for a cut and scalp treatment with Nikki. She was nice but very rough. She shampooed my hair roughly, after the wash she didn’t put any type of product in my hair and just started aggressively pulling a brush through my hair. I have long fine hair so i try to be gentle when brushing it while wet as that’s when you can cause a lot of damage. I already had some bangs that I had done myself and I asked her if she could do some light face framing to blend them in a little and a small trim everywhere else. All my hair (except my bangs) was very long and I had no layers. She sectioned my hair into 4 sections and just did 4 big chops. I honestly feel like I could have cut my own hair better. My girl Niki over there is fantastic. She takes her time to make sure she understands exactly what you want and that you are fully satisfied with your end result. It is a pleasure to sit in her chair every time! But every encounter I have there is great. If you have any question anyone there is happy to help. My son see’s D’alan and LOVES him. And when I’m there I get to see my old friend from school. It’s a great atmosphere. Nothing but great vibes. Thank you Niki!
