If I could rate BEX salon higher than 5 stars they would get a million. I have never felt more comfortable at a salon in my life. Anytime I come in I am greeted by name (which really makes me feel valued as a customer) by the affable owner herself,she is a ball of sunshine and bright smiles from the rest of the staff. I had an amazing consultation with the lovely Michael Douglas. He was attentive to my wants & needs while also being transparent about realistic hair goals. He recommended a new haircare routine to keep my hair health a priority with coloring and bleaching. He also recommended I get a quality haircut before our color appointment. My haircut appointment was the other night with Olivia! I can admit I was extremely nervous, but not because I did not have trust in BEX Salon but b

This experience was nothing like I’ve had before. I was defeated, depressed, and my lifeless hair took over. Then by fate, a patient recommended Bex. I’ve suffered from hair loss related to nutritional deficiencies from gastric bypass. It has been a long road. Most of my hair fell out, what grew was minimal. What was left was repulsive. I’ve been wearing wigs some days, caps and hats other days, headbands, and eventually succumbed to it is what it is. I’ll never have my life back in my hair, my identity, or my femininity. Bex listened. Genuinely. She created a relationship immediately with her beautiful spirit and heart. I trusted and she delivered. I left in tears of happiness. She gave me back my life. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Bex salon truly has CHANGED my life , genuinely. I am more than grateful for everyone here. I originally came in with bright red box dyed hair with a messed up hair cut and left with my natural blonde hair color and beautiful cut , Candy and Micheal both took there time with me, they both truly listened to me and also talked with me and gave me informative advice. Everyone here is so sweet, so knowledgeable and caring, it is the safest place you could be in. I always leave feeling so much better about myself every time. I’ve found my forever salon, I will never go anywhere else! It’s not just a salon, it’s a therapy session you didn’t know you needed.

While I was living in Schenectady, I went to Candy at Bex Salon for a haircut six times. Not only did I love the results every time, but I really enjoyed chatting with Candy. It’s clear that she cares deeply about her clients. I’m really going to miss going to Bex Salon!

Very professional and skilled. Quaint and homey place, old brownstone feel. Best head massage from a hair stylist I’ve ever had. Thanks Olivia! Two moms and I came for wedding hair. The hairstylist who was in training had a hard time with my mom’s hair but the team helped her out and the owner stepped in. We were all very happy with our service. They got us in And out on time, very friendly and lovely people! I’d recommend in a heartbeat.
