Berkeley's Cuts for Kids

Took our son here for his first haircut and it was a great experience. Reina was extremely patient and was very compassionate as my son was not a happy camper. We will certainly be back and glad we found this place!

Took my son here today for his first haircut! They were so good with him! He didn’t cry but he was wiggling most of the time, and the stylist took it all in stride, she was wonderful and patient. The cars, tvs, and balloons are such a nice touch. I will absolutely keep being my kids here.

This place is good for a first haircut, but recently, it feels more rushed and has taken on a factory-like atmosphere. My daughter’s haircut only lasted about 9 minutes and was uneven. I asked for it to be fixed, and she did make the adjustments, but paying nearly $40 for a quick cut and a fix seems excessive. They also charge extra for washing the hair, so instead, they just spritz the ends with a water bottle. They didn’t even offer the wash, which was something they did in the past. As for my son, I asked for a trim while keeping the length on top, but when it was finished, he was in tears. His haircut was way shorter than expected, uneven, and had nothing i would call layering or blending. His teacher even called me later that day because he was still upset, telling her that they took

My 14 month old baby just had his first haircut at Berkeley Cuts. We ended up being 10 minutes late due to a road closure but Lily was super understanding. She let my baby sit in the little sports car for about 5-10 minutes to get acclimated then started cutting his hair. He unfortunately started crying and basically cried the entire haircut but she wasn't even phased and was so, so patient and kind. She was very thorough despite his crying and he came out with a wonderful haircut. I did not want to go to a place that rushed and botched his haircut, this place definitely does not do that. We got a certificate with photo and a little lock of hair. We are looking forward to coming back!

We are thrilled with the experience we had with our toddler! It was her first ever haircut and it was amazing. Martha was kind, fun, and efficient! The services offered are excellent, and the experience inside is wonderfully curated for kids. Highly recommend!
