Amber was professional in her communication and interaction with me, and is clearly skilled in her gift! What I appreciated most? This was my first time getting my hair braided. I didn’t know the language or the process. Amber took time to explain it to me in advance of our appointment. She was a patient ‘teacher’ and guided me well - building trust all the way! Would I return to Amber? Yes! Absolutely. I live in Orlando, Florida and only went to Behind My Chair at the recommendation of a friend who lives near Amber’s shop.I was visiting the LA area so I thought I’d get a new look. I love my new look so much that I will definitely fly to Cali again to have Amber do my hair. What else did I like? Tavia! Tavia and Amber are an excellent team. I was able to have my full head of braids done

Amber is a dream stylist for us...gentle, fast, and professional. Additionally, she genuinely values her customers’ time , as she and her assistant work very quickly!

One of the best hair salons in LA! Very professional, no drama, my appointments always start on time, and the salon is immaculate. I’ve gone to many braiders in the LA area, and individual braids usually take 6-8 hours. NOT HERE!!!! I recently got medium individual braids and walked out the door 3 hours later!!! The stylists are fast, and their prices are very reasonable. I ALWAYS receive compliments on how healthy my hair looks, and my hair has grown soooooo much since I started coming here. If you’re looking to get your hair styled or braided (and keep your edges), Behind My Chair Salon Studio is the place for you! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
