Baxter's Barber Shop

Marvin Baxter is the best barber there is being a woman I can truly say not every Barber can cut a woman's hair so that she still looks like an attractive woman and it fits her face U KNOW (FEMININE ). Thanks Marvin I love my mohawk can't wait till it grows out and see what you do with it.

I just left Baxter's, as I've been at least 2 months since my last haircut (Blazing Cuts folded) and I must say that I'm pleased with the neighborhood, atmosphere, & the service I received. I'm pretty sure I've found my new regular establishment! Mr. Baxter was pleasant, knowledgeable about the area, & a longstanding cornerstone of this community. Oh, & I'm feeling fly as hell, too.

I have had a couple hundred haircuts in my life by many different barbers as I've moved around a lot. I've never had someone do the entire thing without a single drop of water or a pair of scissors. this man was so unbelievably rough and careless with his tools for absolutely no reason, damn bloodied my scalp. the back of my head has three large, noticeable divots in it like he just accidentally buzzed it to bald. has the back of my head looking like some kinda messed up checkerboard. no one ever told me it was cash only, not when I called, nor when I walked in. I've never done anything like this before in my entire life, but I left and never came back to pay because I'm going to need to pay someone else now to try to correct his mistakes, though I presume that's not even possible. My son is picky about his haircut, and was super disappointed when his go-to barber left town. Sherman hooked us up, though, and JJ is definitely planning on going back! Thanks, Sherman! Service was fast and friendly.

Mr Baxter runs a top notch Shop. His staff is wonderful and great to get along with. Always friendly and happy. A cut above the rest. My hat is off to you Mr Baxter.
