I’m so happy I found Barrow and Lizzy! This place has such an incredible vibe. From the very first step inside, you instantly feel you’re in the right hands. The playlist deserves its own applause: indie, cool, and somehow instantly relaxing. And their beauty corner… dangerously good. If you’re in the mood for a little treat, definitely take a look. I discovered ROZ here and now I’m fully loyal. Such a lovely place with lovely people! Highly recommend.

I asked around quite a bit and Barrow came up for a high end men’s hairstyle. They scheduled me with Jackie. I brought pictures for clarity that my hair vocabulary couldn’t express, but none of it mattered, Jackie did what she wanted to do, ignoring every point I made. Unfortunately, that was an extremely easy and boring version of what I asked/showed. Her attitude was sheite and couldn’t be bothered, told me “a barber is better for this” even though, obviously, barbers don’t have the education necessary for a “high” style men’s cut and have had some of the best in the country cut my hair, SF and NY, all high end chairs at high end salons… most excited to “have fun with a more edgy style” I got a super boring and uneven cut. Myles is such a welcoming and talented stylist! I greatly appreciate how my appointment began with looking over my inspo pictures and how to consider my natural wavy hair texture with the pictured hairstyles. Myles discussed exactly what he envisioned and ensured we were on the same page before beginning. The haircut is stunning and exactly what we discussed. Also, Barrow Salon is a beautiful salon in a convenient location. All around a great experience and I highly recommend!

So in love with Michelle and the whole experience at Barrow Salon. I was searching for a place that would make me feel that queen energy walking out—and that’s exactly what I got. My hair looked amazing, but it was the creative vibe of the building and the authenticity and warmth from every staff member—from check-in to hair wash to cut—that really set it apart. Bonus: The bathroom lighting and wallpaper are to die for - perfect for post-cut selfies. 😊

I booked an appointment with Jamie Chow at Barrow Salon and won't be going back. I checked in five minutes early for my haircut appointment, but Jamie was late by 30 minutes. I mentioned that while I understand delays can happen, I would've appreciated a heads-up. Her response? That she doesn't give notifications and I should find another stylist. Barrow has a strict 15-minute late policy for clients--you're charged a late fee if you miss that window. It feels completely one-sided when the salon doesn't offer the same courtesy in return. The issue wasn't just the wait--it was how closed off they were to feedback. I left feeling dismissed and disrespected. Definitely not the experience I expected or will repeat.
