Customer Reviews
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Barberology Salon and specifically with Sam. After eagerly anticipating my haircut appointment at 11 AM, I arrived only to discover after one hour that Sam did not show up, nor did he answer any of my calls, or respond to my texts. This lack of professionalism and communication is unacceptable. I highly discourage anyone from visiting Barberology or booking with Sam.
Mediocre haircut, bizarre customer service at Barberology I seldom write reviews, but had to share this after they sent an ad to book another appt. tl;dr -- the person I booked foisted me off on someone else, and I didn't get the cut I asked for. Early July, I booked an appt with Shaibaan, on a friend's rec. When I showed up, S was very warm and friendly. I asked him to clean up the sides with a #2 and to cut the top short enough that I wouldn't need product to hold it up, and gave him full creative license from there. I told him I normally cut my own hair, but I was short on time and needed a quick fix before a flight. He inspected my hair and said, "I'm a barber, not a stylist" several times, and then he pulled out his phone and started calling folks, to ask if they could take me inst
This review is for a long hair trim and deep conditioning… I have almost waist length hair and have been looking for a stylist to cut it regularly without trying to pressure me into doing highlights and layers. I get the vision stylists are usually going for but I prefer all one length because I like to do updo’s, braids and it’s easier for me to manage that way. I worked with Irene today and not only was the service extremely professional but very careful not to cut too much off and Irene also gave professional suggestions and tips on hair care which I greatly appreciate. The trim was quick and precise, very gentle relaxing hair wash and the much needed deep conditioning was so lovely. This shop is so cute, well kept and in a very convenient location! The barbers/stylists were all busy
My hairstylist was Sam! The whole process was genuinely pleasant. He made sure to ask me if I was good with the cut all the way through, made nice small talk and gave me the exact style I wanted. Very inclusive as well! Will definitely come back!
I always know if I want a new cut, style, and color; my girl Gina always gets me right. She always listens and executes with detail and precision. I have curly thick Latin dark hair and she is by far the only person that knows how my hair responds to cuts and colors. Thank you, Gina and see you in a few weeks. 🖤 xx
