Barber Walter's

Been going to Barber Walter’s for a few years now since moving to the Boston burbs, and I haven’t looked back! I had been going to the same barber for probably 7 years in the city, and it was hard to find a new one since moving out. I continued to drive into the city for my cuts for about a year until I was pointed to these guys, and they are great! I’ve had cuts with both Travis and Christian and they are both super skilled at their craft. Parking is easy in Wellesley and I love the aesthetic and vibe of the shop. It’s elevated and sophisticated, but comfortable. Will continue going back!

So I booked an appointment with Walter last week and went in this morning, he greeted me by name and when i walked in the barber shop had a really nice classy atmosphere. Walter was super nice and personable. His wife came in and asked if I wanted a coffee which was super nice and unexpected. During the cut he was extremely attentive to what type of cut I had asked for. Between all the different cutting instruments and the care he took to make sure my cut was exactly what I asked this was without a doubt the best barber experience I've had in my life this far. Would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone who wants a professional who cares about their work. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could. I will be going here for my cuts from now on.

I found Barber Walter's by a Google search when I wanted to send my husband somewhere that may give a better cut some very quick options and have actual appointments available unlike another local barber shop. Thank Goodness I called and made him an appointment, because he came home with the best haircut he's ever had. I am pretty sure I told him he looked "so handsome" like 10 times that day. He just came home from another appointment and Walter again did a great job. His lines are impeccable and my husband really enjoys going there and getting to chat with Walter. While it's convenient to have online appointment scheduling as an option, I would say call if you need a specific time or day because Walter has been accomodating for us in that way.

Barber Walter's is top notch all around. I first started going to Walter when I lived in San Francisco and he had a barbershop there. Fast forward 9 years and by luck I discovered he'd moved to Wellesley and opened a new shop in town. First off -- I live in Boston and now gladly make the trek out to Wellesley every month for a haircut. There are many good barbers, but Walter is a true professional who lives and breathes the trade and takes great pride in what he does, and he does it very well! He's recreated (and improved upon) the classic barbershop atmosphere of his San Francisco location. Antique photos and memorabilia from his family adorn the walls and classic jazz pipes through the speakers. I’ve never really seen or been in a “real barber shop”. When I walked in I was blown away. Walter cut my sons hair and did an amazing job. He and I were very happy and the hair cut was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend. The Atmosphere is one of a kind, just like the Experience.
