When I first moved to Bristol a few years ago, I searched online for a barber that could cut my hair type & work around my locs. I found a barber & was later informed that he no longer worked at this shop. After some time, I gave the shop another chance & was placed with Angel. I gave Angel a few chances. Some cuts were better than others but, it’s like I always had to coach him on how to achieve a better look the next cut. They were never bad enough for me to give up on him but, as a woman, I am particular about the type of cut that I do receive. I like a softer look so I always ask the barber not to touch the front of my head. I’ve always taken pride in my natural hairline & I also retwist my own locs. After my barber messed up my haircut multiple times, it became clear this wasn’t a one-off mistake but a pattern. The first time, he cut significantly more hair off one side than the other, leaving me with an uneven cut I had to fix myself at home. The next visit was somehow worse—he gave me a style I explicitly did not ask for, cutting the hair way too high with no regard for what I requested. His fade work is completely inconsistent and feels more like a gamble than a skill. For a professional barber, that’s unacceptable. While the shop itself is clean and well-maintained, the barber I chose was a major disappointment and not someone I’d trust with another haircut.

I am extremely disappointed with our recent visit to this barber shop. We decided to try it out based on the glowing reviews, hoping for a superior experience before heading on vacation. Unfortunately, the outcome was far from what we expected. We specifically requested the stylist not to cut my son's hair too short on top, yet not only was it cut much lower than instructed, but it was left uneven and patchy. The visit completely ruined my son's hairstyle, and I deeply regret not sticking with a more familiar option. I do not recommend this shop if you are looking for careful and attentive hair styling. ================================= The haircut was done yesterday, on May 7th, 2024, around 4:30 PM. I don't know the stylist's name, but she was the only lady stylist there.

This place is awesome, and the people are great. Andy has been cutting my sons' hair since they were 3. One is 12 and the other is 5, and he's so patient with kids, and he cuts my hair too. We always feel good after we leave.
