Marv's Barber Shop

Owner greeted myself and my two teenage boys. There was a short wait and they both loved their results. The owner was very kind and the atmosphere is really great! We will definitely be back! Thank you for making our day!

What a great find in Forrestville! We were walking around killing time and stumbled into Marv's Barbershop. Marv greeted us, and we signed in. Didn't have to wait long, and my boys were in the chair getting clipped. My son Asher has a very hard time with haircuts, but Marv's team stepped up and got him clipped quickly. Everyone was friendly here, which is nice. There was an arcade machine for the kids(or adults)to play. ATM on premises to get cash was super convenient. I will definitely be coming back, and it's over an hour away for me to drive. I admit I am jealous of a guy that was getting a haircut and beard trim, because Marv made him into a completely different person than who walked in. That guy looked happy.

Always had a great experience here. I went in on the day that Marv was working. He was welcoming and excited to see us. Marv’s was busy that day and everyone did a great job on handling the full lobby they had.

My kids love coming to Marv’s for haircuts! The staff always greets us happily and friendly. They do great jobs on satisfying our requests and hair cuts always look sharp!

I had a very bad experience. I called ahead and was told they do not accept appointments, only walk-ins. When I arrived with my son, I was told there was a wait, which was fine. But while we waited, multiple people walked in after us and were served before us. When it was finally supposed to be our turn, the barber refused to cut my son’s hair and said it was because of “something that happened previously,” but could not explain what that was. This has never happened before, so the refusal made no sense to me and felt very unprofessional and discriminatory. I left feeling disrespected and embarrassed in front of my child. I will not be returning and I do not recommend this place.
