Extremely unprofessional salon owner. It is dirty and old. And not up to board regulations. Has a print of a car crash on the wall. So Un appealing. No screens on windows. Open back door to alley way full of junk. No clients want to see or smell that.

First time getting my hair dyed so I couldn’t have been more clueless but absolutely love the end result! Axle was extremely knowledgeable, walked me through the options, and helped me better define what I was going for. His great personality made the whole experience fun and his expertise ensured I felt confident in the choices I made. I highly recommend his services!

Aaron at Axle is my go to for color! My at home box color was horrible & was fixed w Aaron. It took a few visits but now I have awesome blonde hair!! My cut & color are my all time favorite! Do yourself a favor & go see Aaron. He is fantastic w color correction & haircuts. He is the most gentle hairdresser I have ever had.

I’ve been getting haircuts from Axle for 2+ years now and he is a certified professional. I originally found him because he is one of the few men in the North Park area that can style my hair properly. As a man, I want my hair to be styled/cut by another man, because that perspective is important to me. There surprisingly aren’t a lot of great hair stylist that are men in the San Diego area though, but Axle is great. Axle is great at what he does and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to try out something different.

After spotting a woman on the street with an amazing cut and color, I chased her down and nearly begged her for her stylists name. I had recently moved from out of state and had tried numerous people without success. This woman kindly gave me the name of Axel Salon and told me to ask for Jackie. I made an appointment and LOVED my hair. I have very long thick hair and like to go very blonde. Jackie did amazing and I always go back. Her talent is incredible, prices are awesome, conversation is fun and upbeat and the atmosphere is super cozy. I HIGHLY recommend! You will not be disappointed!
