Awa's Hair Braiding

Going to Awa's was such a good experience. They are very fast, aren't crazy expensive, and do a very good job! I got some small knotless braids and when I've gotten them at other places, they take around 8 hours, here they were able to do it in half the time and turned out even better than I expected. Just make sure you either bring cash or have zelle because they do have a fee if you use card.

Love love love the final product and the service. My daughter has thick hair and her style was completed within 4.5 hours. We will most definitely be coming back .

I will never book here again. I had an appointment at 6am and no one was there. Place closed. When I called the owner, she said she made a mistake in booking which ok thats fine. I then waited an hour for someone to show up at the 24 hour braiding location to do my hair. Then at the end, after being 1 hour late, they tried to charge me $250 for large knotless braids. Nothing fancy , braiding hair black, basic style to mid-back length. My hair was washed, detangled and blow dryer. The website says it was only $220. I don't like dishonest business practices and will never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

This is my 2nd visit. The first time was knotless braids and this time was knotless boho braids. Beautiful work and fast service. I arrived at 7pm and was out at 9:30 pm. I drive 2 hours and I’ve always had protective styles. This is the first time I’ve not experience a lot of hair loss from the braiding. I choose later hours because of my own schedule and this is very convenient. Make an appointment today!
