I’ve been getting my hair cut at AMP Studio for a while now, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best spots I’ve been to both in and out of the city. Amy, the owner, is incredibly talented—she consistently gives me sharp, precise cuts that grow out on point every time. You can tell she truly cares about her craft and her clients. The studio itself is spotless and welcoming. Every time I visit, the space feels clean, organized, and relaxing, which makes the whole experience even better. I also really appreciate their straightforward and fair pricing policy—no surprises, just great service at a great value. Highly recommend AMP Studio and Amy!

Came here while in DC for the week and Emely is amazing! She took care of my long, wavy hair - from the wash to the cut, she was very attentive & friendly! She gave great hair care tips as well & I enjoyed her conversation throughout the entire process. Would definitely come back when in town & book Em again!

After struggling to find a good barber in DC and shopping around a lot of different places, I can confidently say that Alex is the best barber I've found here and she's been cutting my hair for about a year or so now. This new facility is awesome! If you're driving, the easiest parking option is the garage under the Giant on O Street nearby.

Emely understood exactly the color I wanted in a gloss and did a spectacular job with it! I was looking to cover up long-grown-out blonde balayage shades with an espresso tint all over while I plotted my next color move, and she set me up perfectly to change it up whenever I’m ready. I’ve been back for a repeat and it’s just as great the second time around.

Every time I leave my appointment I’m thrilled with my choice! I’ve worked with Amy, Max, and Emely and have felt gorgeous every time. The space is welcoming and wonderful and so are the people. Highly recommend ❤️
