Ahava Nail Spa

So i got a gel manicure and i had builder gel on they charged $15 for just drilling off the builder gel which took 5 minutes. $40 for gel manicure which came out great thats why i gave this place ANY stars. Reason why its 2 stars is because i got judged on the amount of tip i gave which was $10. The lady said “yea yea its ok bye” felt very disrespected and never got treated like that. So will NEVER go back due to the rudeness.

So disappointed. I will never come back again. Incapable of doing extension and can’t keep promise of time for client. I Was here 2 years ago and came a few times. But came back again, promised have time to do both hand and feet gel and ended up asked so many times why I want extension because they don’t have time. The nail tech have no clue what she was doing and kept filing down my nail so pointy when it’s not the shape I asked for. Then she asked me what kind of extension I want when I had to point to the tip extension, and she reluctantly want to take out. Then she spoke in chinese bc she said she doesn’t have time and kept stalling time. Then I had enough, stood up, tried to pay for the removal and leave. The korean owner told me to pay her tips… well here is a $20 waste of my time.

I recommended my friend from Europe to do her manicure at this place as it’s nearby. Her manicure is unacceptable.

My first thought during my nail experience there was that the nail ladies are a bit rude and snappy, but the lady that did my nails actually did a good job. And her shoulder and hand massage was very pleasant. So, I'll try this place again and see whether I would add one more star.

It's a small, clean, and organized salon. All of the manicurists are skilled and very nice. The owner whose name I think is Gene is nice. I get the SNS manicure and it's always perfect. I would recommend this salon to anyone in search of a nice/luxurious mani/pedi.
