Price and time was ok but the cornrows was not straight at all everyone noticed it and they were too tight, she also braided in the wrong style, after i showed pictures so i took them Out the next day because it was painful no matter how much oil or water i used

I was really disappointed with my experience at ABC Braiding Shop. I came in with a clear reference photo for mini twists using springy afro twist hair, which I brought myself (more than enough). We agreed on $250 after they showed me twists that matched the size I requested. I also clearly communicated that I had a recent seborrheic dermatitis flare-up and asked that no gel be used on one sensitive area. Despite this, my scalp was handled very aggressively. My head was pushed around, the environment was chaotic, and gel was placed directly on the area I asked them to avoid, followed by very tight twisting and dragging a rat-tail comb across the part. The pain was extreme. The finished style had bulky knots despite being marketed as knotless twists, with inconsistent sizing. I spoke up

I’ve been coming here for years me and my daughters. I’ve witnessed them give other people bad customer service but I’ve never experienced it until today. I called upon arrival about the style and price. Once I arrived the price changed and they were rude about it even though I get the same hairstyle every single time. I won’t be returning. Please go to fantastic hair braiding one block away. Very clean very respectful to their guest and my hair actually turned out amazing! Even though I was afraid! They even grease and massage the scalp! Please stay away from this unprofessional place! Then they talk about you in French like you’re stupid.

It’s so sad that I have to do this but they promoted a hairstyle on their website where they said they provide hair. When I walked in no one knew what I was talking about. I showed a picture and they stated they only do it if the hair is provided. I showed them the instagram post and said provided and out of stock are 2 different things. When I chose a different hairstyle that were just knotless braids with a design they told me $400. Mind you when I looked it up online it is not the same price as they stated. I said I’m ok and wanted to leave. They started talking negatively about me like I could t understand what they were saying because I am from the same tribe as them. The braiders at this place will snatch out your edges!!! I went there for the first time on June 2nd to get island twist. It was a hassle getting there and finding parking due to how busy the area is. I didn’t have a bad experience in the salon itself. They charged me $300 for human hair boho island twists which I thought was too much for the style but I desperately needed my hair done (Mind you I don’t have a full head of hair. My back and sides are shaved) During the service, the braider kept saying sorry because of my notions of the twists being too tight. I still don’t understand how or why a twisted style had so much tension. After a week, the tension from the twists subsided and I noticed that my hair / edges were snatched out from the roots because of how tight the twists were. I i
