Addison Salon

Addison is a true master. He is the more than a hair stylist - the man is a hair artist. His haircuts are precise, carefully thought-out, and grows out well. I've been going to see him for more than a decade and inevitably dissatisfied when I have to get my hair cut elsewhere. Addison is my hair stylist for life, I'm not allowing him to retire.

So, here's the thing - Addison Mock (Addison Salon) used to cut my hair for, ohh, 15+ years. First at Architects and Heroes, and then at his place, Addison Salon on Pine. In 1994, I moved to San Diego, and in 1996, to Seattle. Up until 2005, Addison was my one and only hair stylist (barber, ok?). I flew into The City for meetings every month, and would always carve out time for a visit to Addison - for the hair, and for the wonderful companionship and conversation. In 2006 my world changed and very few trips to The City ensued. To this day, no one, I mean absolutely no one in the Seattle area has cut my hair in a way that approaches Addison's skills (poor me). Frankley, every cut up here sucks by comparison. It's amazing, maybe, but a talent such as Addison's is a rare thing, indeed. Regar
