A & L Nails

Don't send the elderly. When my Dad first moved in with us 4 years ago, I suggested A & L to him to get his toenails clipped. He's elderly and cannot reach his toes. It is a great service they provide for a reasonable $9. Over time, the ladies convinced him he needed a full-on pedicure for $35. Fine, he should treat himself, he could have said no. Fast forward to last week. My Dad gets his pedicure. He uses a debit card (there is a charge by the way) and after the sale goes through realizes he hasn't tacked on a tip. Dad asks if he can leave a tip so she cancels the first transaction and swipes again to charge $40. He says goodbye and goes home. He receives an alert from his bank saying he was billed $35 and $40 from the same business. So he goes back to A & L to resolve the payme

I paid $66 for this French pedicure that looks like a toddler did it, she put uneven white lines straight across the bottom of all nails 🙄 & the massage was trash & she just used oil, no lotion no exfoliating scrub definitely will NEVER be back.

While the technician did a decent job on my manicure, NEVER HAVE WAXING DONE AT THIS PLACE! They are not set up to do the work properly. They don’t have warming pots for the wax, and instead have small heated roll on bottles that are used to apply the wax. The woman grabbed one of these and applied it to my leg, without checking it first. It was SCALDING, and immediately blistered my leg. I shouted for her to stop, and she blinked back at me, uncomprehendingly. She didn’t seem to understand that there was a problem.She had no ice, nothing to stop the burning, and no way to remove the wax other than the papers she’d cut from a roll, which would have removed the top layers of skin as well. She was unapologetic, and saw no reason not to charge full price for her services. I have been getting
