I had such a great experience at this salon! The space itself is absolutely beautiful, modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Everyone in the salon was genuinely friendly and welcoming. What really stood out was how much time my stylist (Monica with help from Sophie) took to truly listen to what I wanted. We went over inspiration pictures together, talked through my hair goals, and discussed what would realistically work for my hair type and lifestyle. Instead of rushing, they developed a custom plan specifically for me. I also appreciated their honesty about products. They recommended a few items that would help maintain my color, clearly explaining which ones were “must-haves” versus nice extras. Sophie did my hair for the first time in December and now I won’t go anywhere else. When I went in, I had a really orangey-botched brown hair, and my goal was to go light!! I was really nervous due to my past experiences, but her professionalism made me feel at ease. She was extremely realistic with my expectations and took the integrity of my hair into consideration and made it a priority. I was absolutely thrilled when I left! My hair was still so healthy and I am sooo obsessed with the color. I won’t go anywhere else now that I know the true artistry that is provided at Hair Parlor On 8th. Every staff member I’ve met is incredibly pleasant as well and the overall experience is unmatched!!

The staff and stylists are friendly, attentive, and always on top of your needs. The salon itself is truly beautiful and impeccably clean. Most importantly, my stylist, Sofie Davies, is incredible. She really listens to my concerns and goals and has never disappointed me. I booked with Skyler at Hair Parlor on 8th looking for something fresh, but still very me—I have fine, straight hair and a low-maintenance routine, so I needed a cut that wouldn't require a ton of styling or upkeep. Skyler absolutely delivered! He really listened to what I wanted (yes to movement, no to losing my ponytail length!) and gave me a subtle A-line shape with soft layers that made a big difference without feeling high-maintenance.
