Phases Men’s Salon

I decided to try this salon because of all the great reviews and higher-end pricing, expecting top-quality service. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t quite match the price. I paid $100 for a simple haircut, and when I got home, I noticed two long strands of hair left uncut. For such a premium price, I expected more attention to detail. The haircut itself was okay, but definitely not worth the cost.

AJ always delivers. I’ve been going to him for years now and can’t imagine myself getting cut by anyone else. The shop has a great vibe too - great beats on vinyl, cool art and spindrifts in the fridge. What else can you ask for!

I drive about 50 minutes into Culver City, to sit and chill at Phases, listen to the turntable spin some tunes, and get one great haircuts by AJ, this has been my spot for about 2 years. Haircut and beard trim.. get there!!

AJ is a master at what he does. He has consistently been giving me amazing haircuts since I met him around 2/3 years ago. He truly cares about each cut and doesn’t let you leave the shop until HE feels the cut is up to par. His focus to detail is second to none and in each cut he is precise and meticulous! The environment is friendly and inviting and just an overall great experience! Highly recommend!
