I had a somewhat similar experience as a previous reviewer. One of my molars with a very old amalgam filling broke. A pretty big chunk of the tooth fell off. YOU DO NOT NEED A ROOT CANAL!!! 6 months ago, my tooth crumbled and 2 dentists told me I needed a root canal & implant. It's not good to have metals permanently set in your body so I found Dr. Shumantov by searching for bio compatible implants. When I went to see him, he said I DIDN'T need a root canal at all and would be better off with a crown. I was THRILLED!!!!! A root canal is a really terrible procedure.
