Zen Nails

I ALWAYS go here for my nails. Katelyn and her daughter Jessica are an incredible mother daughter duo. My nails always come out incredible. I have never had an issue, but they have always insist that if I ever do, to come in and they will fix it. I was even wearing nails from them the day I got engaged and it was perfect. Katelyn is a expert veteran nail tech who always takes good care of me. Her daughter Jessica loves to do designs, modern trends, and gives love to the little details. She did the beautiful cherries and sparkle stickers in my photos. They were also so kind and informative when I told them I didn’t really know much about nails yet and didn’t know what to ask for. I came in with my maid of honor and my mom for a mani pedi before my wedding! My mom and I got amazing pedicures before my MoH and I went to get our fingernails done. The massage chairs are amazing! And I got the best smelling lavender scrub on my legs! I did just a regular pedicure (white) and it's holding up super well! And I did gel for my fingernails for only the second time ever. I opted for a classic french tips and it looked so good on my wedding day and is perfectly intact now which wasn't my experience with my other gel manicure from another place in Portland. I really enjoyed my experience there and am so happy with my nails. Enjoy the feet pic ;)

They’re so kind and attentive to detail here at Zen Nails! I very much appreciate the smaller space (it’s quieter and more relaxing) and how clean they keep it. They also use plastic liners for the pedicure tubs, honestly I can’t believe I’ve ever patronized places that didn’t 😭 10/10, they’re fabulous here!

Since 2011 I've been getting my nails done by Katelyn and gel pedicures by My at Zen Nails. Yep, 2011! This is the only shop I've ever gone to in Portland because I'm always happy with the end result and enjoy my experience. ( See my photos!) I recommend making an appointment and arriving on time! You will get the best service this way. Even though I haven't lived in St Johns since 2019, I continue to go here because I enjoy visiting with Katelyn and love the way my nails look EVERY time I leave. Highly recommend!!!

Super friendly and clean, there’s no argument there. And I was able to get same day appointment. I went in with a design (it will be pictured below) I wanted black dip powder with white snowflakes, the lady there said ok (I assumed she could do as the picture) she was super welcoming and nice by the way, well as we are almost done with my nails she asked me if I wanted just black and I said yes but with the snowflake design, she informs me that she couldn’t do the design that it was to hard for her 😭 I said ok, she said I could come back tomorrow (I was on my lunch break from work), I was going at first and she asked me what time I said 1pm like today, she said ok and then she said 3pm. I then opted out of getting the design all together, I didn’t have an available time other than 1pm tomo
