Omg. Where do I even start?! Kaylee is simply the best. My hair turned out exactly how I wanted but she was so careful not damaging it. She took time to learn my hair type and head shape and she gave me the best styling tip as well. I cannot recommend her enoguh. If u want wave perm that is soft and full of volume just go to Kylie. She is Def the best in OC.

I live eight hours away from SoCal, but I still go to Kaylee. I’ve been to high-end salons in Korea that work with celebrities, but no one compares to her. She knows exactly how to match a haircut and color to someone’s face and style, and the results always maximize your look. What’s even more amazing is that she isn’t just incredible with cuts. Her coloring always turns out stunning as well. Somehow she brings out this subtle pearly sheen in the hair color. (For context, I’m Korean and naturally have dark black hair.) I used to get my hair done in Korea before trips, but now I always see Kaylee first and again when I return. I feel so lucky to have found her. She's truly one of a kind!

I made an appointment the day before online and the process of booking is really easy! I really appreciate an online booking system. The salon itself is small, but clean and cozy. I booked with Kaylee for a hair cut based on other reviews and am so happy with her work! She is really attentive to her clients and made me feel comfortable right away. She asked if I had any inspiration photos and did exactly what I asked for and more. She has a great eye and is very detail oriented. I also am really appreciative of her providing me with tips on how to achieve the same styling she did for me at home. Overall, I definitely recommend Yumi Hair Studio and will for sure be returning to Kaylee for my future hair cuts!
