Jean was such a pro! I was not ready for the amazing massage I recieved from her. She was so intuitive, skillful and treated me with great deal of care and respect. She just seemed to know exactly what my body needed in that moment. I also enjoyed the lovely sound bowl and the gentle vibrations it offered my tired body. Jean gave me a truly therapeutic massage helping me deal with 3 specific issues. 1. She worked on a long standing knot for tension in my neck which she intuitively found. 2. She massaged my belly to help with constipation and later I had an enormous bowel movement. 3. But the most remarkable thing was the lymphatic massage. After a foot injury I developed a large hematoma (swollen area) above my right ankle. She didn’t touch the injured or swollen area but after the massage, I felt the extra fluid there start to drain out! I’ve had a lot of massages, but this one really felt healing. Jean was great! Excellent massage, very relaxing. And she was very attentive to requests, for example for less pressure at times, or to work more on my calves, to help heal a foot injury. Jean knows what she’s doing. My back and neck were so tense, that I had developed an involuntary tremor when trying to hold my head still (my optometrist thought I had Parkinson’s). Over the past 6 months, Jean has rolled back that overtension by years, and loosened muscles I didn’t even know I had. I work full time at a desk job, and it’s easy to see the difference therapeutic massage has made to the way I feel at the end of the workweek.
