We recently moved to the Charlestown area and split our time between Naples, Florida and Boston. I was desperately searching for an expert hairstylist—especially someone skilled in color correction—and I’m so glad I found Phillip Edward Salon and Fatima… truly the best in Boston. After a previous bad experience at an upscale salon in Naples, my hair was in rough shape. Fatima took the time to understand exactly the shade of blonde I wanted, and she went above and beyond to correct the color and give me a beautiful cut. I was absolutely delighted with the results. My hair now looks natural, shiny, and healthy, with a perfect haircut. I’ve been to salons on Newbury Street, and Fatima gave me the best cut I’ve ever had. Came in for a wash, cut, and style and I'm genuinely blown away. Honestly, might be the best haircut I've ever had. Fatima took the time to really understand my hair, my routine, and what would actually work for me - not just what looks good leaving the chair. Every step felt intentional, from the consultation to the products she chose (which smelled amazing and left my hair insanely soft). You can tell she truly cares about her craft and her clients. Plus, being on ClassPass was such a bonus. Could not recommend Fatima more!

I’m new to the neighborhood and decided to try Philip Edward Salon since it was so nearby and had good reviews online. I’m so glad I gave it a shot! I got the best haircut I’ve had in years from Fatima. She takes her time to make sure she’s honoring your wishes. She double-checked on my expectations for how much length I wanted cut off—which I really appreciate. She gave me some wonderful recommendations for detoxing hair treatments to try at home. As a new mom who hadn’t had a haircut in far too long, it was wonderful to feel so well taken care of! Thank you, Fatima—I’ll definitely be back in a few months!
