Mr and Mrs Young rock! My son went for a layered cut - in preparation for hockey/la crosse mullet. He was super satisfied. $16 was a steal. We parked on Lincoln, but there was a little lot right by the place. Turn right into it after you see the salon. Mr Young was very friendly and he knew exactly what my son was looking for (in preparation for a mullet!). $18 for ladies. NO reservation!

Move over guys, Mr Young gives great haircuts to women too! Just wanting a trim I opted not to spend $50-80 on a haircut. Mr Young did an excellent job & gave me exactly what I was looking for... a good cut and healthier hair at an affordable price. He made me laugh too. I’ll be back. Thank you!

The barber here was so fast, so efficient, and my boyfriend got one of the best haircuts he’s gotten in his life!!!! He listened to my bf’s requests, he knew how to execute it, and my bf is very satisfied. Highly highly recommend this one man show. There should be parking out front (it was super easy for us) and we were in and out in less than 15 min.

I almost never get my haircuts by a barber, but I was looking for something different than just an at-home buzz cut. Can't say enough great things about the owner of this business. He's super friendly, patient, and careful. At multiple points, he paused to ask what I wanted before proceeding. He is the only barber present, so I would expect a wait and bring something to keep you busy if you're going in the middle of the day. I came immediately at 11:00 AM, and there were two people already lined up by the time I finished at 11:30 AM. Note that this business is walk-in only and does not take appointments. I also appreciated that my barber knew exactly what to do with Asian male hair, which cannot be said about most barbershops. At the time of this writing, my haircut was $28, and I provided

This place has got to be LA's best kept secret! If you want an amazing cut with no extra "frills" then this is the place. Mr. Young is so talented that it's easy to understand why people have said that the wait for a cut can take a while. (This salon is walk-in only and people are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis). I have long very long hair and it's been hard for me to find a reasonably priced haircut in this city by someone who actually knows what they're doing. I will absolutely be back (and have no problem waiting an hour+ to do so). Thank you, Mr. Young!
