I've seen McKenzie twice and always had a wonderful experience. I wanted to branch out and try an asymmetrical cut, knowing it could be risky. But McKenzie did a fantastic job at talking me through it and making sure I was happy with the cut every step of the way, from the initial length and getting my correct part, to the layers and final look. She's updated the cut based on my hair type and how it was lying, so it would come out just right for my naturally wavy hair. She's kind, attentive, pays great attention to detail, and is a pleasure to talk to. Looking forward to my next appointment!

I asked for a balyage, a not only did the women not speak to me barely at all, I left with a head of orange hair. I called back an they said there is nothing they can do. If u have dark hair a want it lightened, don’t go here unless u wanna pay 200 dollars for a head of copper. 50 dollars of purple a blue shampoo later, nothing changed.

I have never in 62 years written a review online, but I just couldn't let this pass. Yesterday after getting a cut and color from Pearl, and paying for it, I was informed that she was no longer willing to cut my hair. Why, you ask? Because I changed my mind about what haircolor I wanted, and that she just didn't "mesh" with me. Guess I'm just old, but back in my day, the aim of a business was to please the customer and treat them with patience and respect, even if that meant it was a little more work for the service provider. I was shocked, embarrassed, and angry! I know there are many other establishments willing to take my money, but the way I was treated was unprofessional, unwarranted and unforgivable.
