World Nails II

I got a full set and a polish change on my toes. This salon re-uses nail files and does not prep (file the sides down so they aren't sharp) them before using them. This causes cuts to the sides of your fingers and because they don't give new files for each customer like they are supposed to, you could end up with a nasty infection. Both of my pinky fingers were cut in by the nail file. The woman who was using an e-file to remove my toe polish kept hitting my skin and she was very much aware as she kept apologizing. It hurt to wash my feet and wear shoes so I made a call the next morning. I was told to come in for a refund. I came in and showed pictures since I had band-aids on my toes and the lady tried calling me a liar in front of other customers saying my feet were like that when I cam

i came in for a walk in, asked to get the gel polish that was on my nails removed and get dip put on, the tech did not take all of the gel off and proceeded to file my nails down to NUBS…after i told her i simply just wanted my LONG nails SHAPED…$60 later and i absolutely hate my nails, i will not be returning. i was asked if i liked my nails and straight up said no you cut all of my nails off….they look like total junk!

I usually receive excellent service and love my nails, but this time was disappointing. I was informed they closed at 7 PM, but their posted hours say 7:30 PM. Unfortunately, my nails ended up looking fake; when I ran my fingers through my hair, they got caught. The color didn’t fully cover the nails, and when I pointed this out, all she did was file them down. As a loyal customer, I expect a certain standard for the money I pay. It feels like when we raise concerns, the staff takes it personally and responds negatively. I shouldn’t have to tiptoe around expressing feedback, especially as a loyal client. If this is how they treat complaints, I’ll have to consider finding another salon that values its customers and isn’t too tired to provide quality service. Just stating the facts!

Have been coming to this salon on and off for 5 yrs. Let's just say they have favorites and to people with skin like mine, they try to leave you sitting and waiting! This time I will never patronize or will I ever return. I have had more than one experience where I was purposely left sitting for a hour, while they cater to white people 🙃!
