Master martial artist Bruce Lee (Lee Jun Fan) of San Francisco, CA. came to Boston to meet my parents since we together have a daughter long ago. We visited Chinatown where I volunteered through the Chinese Community Center to teach English to an immigrant Chinese wholesale garment worker living in Chinatown. I also was learning free Cantonese from a Tufts dental student volunteering for the same Community Center. It is most important to integrate Chinese American experiences with the greater outer communities of metro Boston which are numerous within this area I grew up in from Allston, Brookline and volunteering.
