Woodhouse Spa - Mount Pleasant

This afternoon I visited Woodhouse Spa in Mount Pleasant with my daughters, and it was exactly what we needed. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt peaceful and refined. The spa is spotless, beautifully designed, and truly luxurious without feeling pretentious. I especially appreciated that they offer both private seating areas and shared spaces, so you can enjoy quiet time alone or relax together. My massage therapist, Lynne, was exceptional. Professional, gentle, and incredibly intuitive. My daughters had Jenna, who was just as wonderful. Both of them made us feel cared for and completely at ease. Woodhouse is the best spa in Charleston. The staff, the ambience and their services are top knotch. We had a little bit of a complicated situation because we had a large party and they were able to help accommodate all of us with such ease adn professionalism. The service was absolutely incredible! I had a deep tissue with Simone. She understood the assignment which was help this tired mom remove all the tight knots in my neck. She was incredible!

The atmosphere is top notch. The employees are all very nice. I have had several services here - 2 facials and a manicure. The facials were excellent and it would get 5 stars for those, but the manicure left a little to be desired. My cuticles were not done well at all, and I honestly got a better hand massage during the facials (and have gotten a better manicure overall at a much less expensive nail salon). Not what I was expecting.

I’ve been a loyal Woodhouse Day Spa Mt. Pleasant guest for years, but this was my first VIP experience — and it exceeded every expectation. The staff was attentive, the atmosphere was serene, and every service felt beautifully elevated. A truly delightful visit.

The service from the staff was great and my massage was great but the spa has went downhill. The first thing you notice when you open the door to the quiet room is like getting hit with a brick wall of stench mold and mildew. It was like this the last 2 times I visited and nothing has been done about it. There is still black mold on the ceiling returned grill and smell is overbearing. Get some dehumidifiers, clean the grills, do something. This used to be the best pace to go in Charleston, but it definitely needs attention - Especially the musty, moldy relaxation lounge. And perhaps the smaller quiet room can be turned into a couples room because they talk to each other - a lot - and it’s not quiet and relaxing anymore.
