Wise The Barber

HORRIBLE experience here with Wise, unfortunately. I’m a young Black professional guy looking for skilled Black barbers in the city. So, I came to this shop three times and the first, he was smoking weed outside the shop and came back to cut my hair and touch my face with his hands and breath still smelling like it. The second time was fine. My third and LAST time, I came a bit early and texted him to let him know. He was EXTREMELY rude, still smelled like weed, and immediately hostile both over text and when I went up to him, with other barbers and clients overhearing it. Then, I told him about some still-healing piercings and to be careful in those areas. In a nutshell, he told me “no promises, only so much I can do”. As expected, he snagged my piercings several times with a comb and did

This barbershop reminds me of pre-covid prices and services. Wise is a tremendously great attentive and professional person and barber. They offer affordable prices for adults and kids. Adult shape up $20 and haircut $30. Highly recommended.

Wise did a great job with my cut. He’s one of those barbers that could talk their talk and still keep cutting hair. It was quick but didn’t feel rushed. Highly recommend!
