Sean gives great service. Always ready to make adjustments at the end of the cut if requested. If I don’t get in right away, my wait times have always been minimal.

I went to this barber shop for 40 years. But I will never go there again after what they did. It's under new ownership and they charged me $40.00 to cut my hair, claiming it was too long. It was down to my neck. After I sent in a bad review, the owner emailed me and said they would credit my account. What account? I paid cash as I always have! They got their $15.00 this time, but they will never overcharge me again because I will never go there again.

Really an amazing series of events, schedule a haircut and shave. Show up on time for the appointment, sit and wait 15 minutes. That's fine, one barber on duty and maybe he's a walk-in. Get called to the chair, get told, "okay, just a haircut." No, scheduled haircut and shave. Get told, well it's Saturday, I can't do a shave, it takes too long. There's not another soul within a quarter mile of this place. Literally only scheduled to get a shave and added the haircut since I was going to be in the chair anyway. I'm not sure why they take reservations for things, have you drive clear across town, let you sit and wait for the service, then tell you when you're the only paying customer in sight, "tough luck, we're not providing the service we advertise and allowed you to schedule, were too b

I took my grandson in to have Vera cut his hair. Excellent Results as Always!! I’ve used Vera in the past with the same excellent results! It wasn’t my time today. Thank You!!!

The last time I called to make an appointment, I was hung up on by a woman named Helen who was apparently insulted because I wanted one of the other barbers to cut my hair instead of her, because i wasn't real happy with the haircut she had previously given me (although I didn't tell her that). I've been going to the William Byrd for years because it use to be really good, but as is the current trend in Richmond, the old timers have retired or died off, and it's a different crew, now. I give it four stars because the few other barbers still there do acceptable work, and the place was so good for many years, but hanging the phone up in a regular customer's face is unacceptable, for ANY reason.
