Wild Styles Children's Hair Salon

Two times in a row we asked for a specific cut, and got something that looked nothing like it. To clarify, both times, we asked for long on the top, short on the sides (slightly faded, nothing crazy) and he has nearly single length, virtually buzzed hair for the second time in a row. If your stylists are not able to accomplish a cut, they need to tell you. I am so disappointed - I can’t even style the hair to make it look like anything other than an army buzz with minimally longer hair on top (like, half an inch longer lol) and we have family portraits next week. The extent to which the cut differs from the ideas we told the stylists about and the pictures we showed them is striking. I’ve been coming to Wild Styles for years. Taken all of my kids here. I have nothing but good things to say. The place is clean, bright, and friendly. The management changed over the years but I never had a problem with either one. I think Wild Styles has improved over the years. I always leave here satisfied. I love that they even offer different events for kids. This is by far the best children’s salon I’ve went to! Highly recommend.

Briggite is great. I brought my two sons in. One for a first haircut and one for a cut. She did a great job and was very quick. The salon is very kid friendly and had plenty of toys in the waiting room while we waited for our stylist to be ready. Both boys enjoyed riding in the car for their cuts

Just Okay- I was very underwhelmed by the hairdresser who cut my toddler's hair. She was fast but very disengaged and seemed annoyed the entire time. She was not friendly or playful and was not very responsive or comforting. If you work at a children's hair place, I would expect you to be eager to engage with children.

Update: our son ended up having so much fun the first time he had fun and was happy the second time. He knew the deal. Play with toys. Cool ride and a haircut. Then a toy and lollipop from the stylist if he was good. We will be going here for quite a while. Previous review: This place was awesome. Better than expected by far. The lady gave our son a great haircut even though our son may have won the award for most difficult client of the day. It’s set up with all kinds of distractions that eventually worked on our son. He even got a toy monkey (his favorite animal) on the way out. I’m sure he won’t be nearly as upset the next time we come now. Great business model. And the price was cheaper than expected. I’m so happy we went today
