I had a great experience with Serena! It was my first time getting my hair colored, and she really took the time to walk me through how to care for my hair and feel confident about my new look. I brought in some inspiration photos, and Serena elevated the idea even further. When I left, I wasn’t completely in love with the way my 4B curls were styled — my curls weren’t defined from the product used and left my hair crunchy and dry. That said, once I restyled at home, the color truly shined. The results of the coloring have more than made up for it, and months later my hair is still bright and easy to maintain. Serena is a mastermind hair stylist with a professional eye for color and extensions. I couldn’t be happier with the result and she has a customer for life. Serena is the absolute best! I’ve never had a cut or style that embraces and fits my waves. I’ve dealt with frizz and trying to tame the waves for yeaes without ever really understanding how to work with them, what products to use, and how to dry them. Serena was great at evaluating my wants and needs and listening to my experiences with my hair before agreeing on a game plan. This was also my first time ever getting balayage and I love the colors and the way that she applied them. It’s absolutely perfect and reflects what I wanted and discussed with her.
