While on vacation in the local Hampton VA area I had a massage at Whole Body Therapeutics. First, the room was so comfortable, the colors are relaxing and the energy of the entire place was just peaceful. I love the mural covers over the ceiling lights! Heather gave me my massage and while I have been having massages for the past five years, I can honestly say that the massage I received from Heather was the best one of my life! I absolutely loved every massage I received from Joy Thompson. I have never fallen asleep when getting massaged until coming here. I have been getting massages for about 20 years. Whole Body Therapeutics is the best I've ever experienced! Joy is perfectly named: she IS a joy! She is also an amazing masseuse! I have had several massages from her, as well as a fantastic deep tissue massage from Dominique, and an outstanding deep tissue/sports type massage from Chaz that transformed my muscles! He found knots in my hamstrings I didn't know were there! The pricing is outstanding and I will be a client for life! While you're there, also talk to Claudette about acupuncture! As a frequent patron of Whole Body Therapeutics (for yoga classes, massages, and acupuncture), I can't overstate how impressed I am with this business. Joy has managed to stop a week-long migraine dead in its tracks for me on multiple occasions with massage. I've also noticed a marked improvement in my flexibility after attending yoga classes with her, and acupuncture with Claudette has successfully relieved stubborn tension in my neck. I always feel a greater sense of well-being following my various sessions. I will continue to come here for as long as I live in the area.
