Westover Barber Shop

Based on a recommendation from a neighbor, we took my son here for his first haircut around 1yo and have been consistently coming for the last 2 years! They are very kid friendly and have lots to do to keep kids entertained while waiting, during the cut, and a fun treat once done! My usually wiggly little guy is happy to sit (fairly!) still in the seat for his cut. They have shows, toys, books, popcorn & lollipops! The haircuts are also great - and more impressive knowing they're being done on squirmy little ones! we've had cuts from 4 of the different staff members and each one has been great! Can't recommend this place enough!

We really liked this place before but last time we went it was terrible. They did the exact opposite. We asked for the front to be long enough to tuck behind his ear and the back to be more layered. They cut it short in the front and left the back long. They didn’t even bother drying his hair to fix any unevenness. See photos. We will never come back to this place.

caters to men and kids - great place for the younger folk. TV on in waiting area and for a few of the chairs for hairs. they still serve popcorn (free) and sell water for a buck.

Pros: the kids like this place. The trains, tvs, popcorn machine, and lollipops make it so my kids ask to come here specifically. The team there knows how to quickly cut a small child’s hair. The cuts are pretty good and they exercise a lot of finesse with wiggly or nervous babies. Annie is very nice. Cons: - Every time we go in, we wait at least an hour. Weekends are a mess. Don’t even bother. You might choose to go on a weekday for a smaller wait? Cool, except there’s only two people working and the chairs need to turn over 3 times each before your turn. - It’s all cash, so be ready to pay a $4 atm fee. It’s not a big deal but it’s mildly meh. - The most recent time we went there, they put on a Peppa Pig YouTube video (of course, the TVs are a help for the little kids) BUT they failed
