West Brighton Dental Arts on Amboy

At first, when I came here, I was a little taken back because I was trying to deal with my child who is special needs, and the girl kept trying to talk to me and didn’t seem to care what I had going on, but once we got back into the room, the dentist and the staff assistant member were actually very helpful and understanding that I had three small children with me and even helped occupy them or make sure they were safe while I was being seen so I was truly grateful the appointment went well. Sometimes as a mother to a special needs child people can be rude it means so much when you are seen and helped along the journey.

From beginning to end, my experience was fantastic! The hygienist, Ariana, was truly outstanding. In addition to being meticulous and kind, she took the time to go over each step with me, which I  appreciated. The entire appointment seemed relaxed and stress-free because of her soothing and composed demeanor. She takes pride in her profession and really cares about her patients! Thea at the front desk was really nice and inviting; her positive attitude made check-in quick and simple. Christin was also excellent; she was nice and professional. This team clearly collaborates well and fosters a supportive environment for patients. They go above and above! I heartily recommend this office!

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at both the Amboy Road and Hylan Blvd dental offices. I was told upfront that they accepted my insurance, which turned out to be misleading at best. After my exam, the dentist said I needed a root canal but then oddly tried to refer me to a periodontist—which didn’t make sense. When I questioned it, he suddenly changed course and did another X-ray, claiming they'd try to get insurance approval. Weeks passed with no update. I developed a painful abscess and reached out multiple times to check on the insurance status. I even contacted my insurance company directly twice, only to be told the office never even submitted a request for the procedure. I was desperate and in pain, and still the office insisted they were “trying,” though

⭐ 1 Star (If I could give zero, I would) This is by far the worst dental office I have ever dealt with. West Brighton Dental Arts is a complete disaster when it comes to communication and patient care. They do not answer the phone for months, and forget about getting a call back—voicemails, messages, nothing gets a response. It’s like they vanished off the face of the earth but are somehow still booking appointments they never plan to honor. If you’re thinking about trusting your dental health to this place—don’t. The level of unprofessionalism is unreal. Imagine needing urgent dental care or trying to follow up on a procedure and getting absolutely no response after dozens of attempts. This is not just frustrating—it’s dangerous. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save

I have been to many dentists in my life time...West Brighton Dental Arts is far better then all of them, the receptionists, the staff is totally awesome, Joeann cleaned my teeth perfect and was as kind as can be to me, Dr Edwards could actually be the best Dentist I ever been too,he was such a kind, skilled, professional dentist. I almost didn't feel I was at a dentists office. I recommend anyone going here that they will feel the same way. I will gladly recommend this office to anyone. Ron Star
