Customer Reviews
Honestly, Sunday brunch at Waldorf Astoria's restaurant was a total dream! Walked in without reservation and snagged a table no problem, which was nice. The staff were super chill and accommodating, kudos for making us eggs Benedict off-menu, btw! The food was seriously next-level, salmon was cooked to perfection, ceviche was ridiculously fresh, and that strawberry dessert? To. Die. For. If you're looking for a fancy brunch spot without the fuss, this is it!
The massage was ok, but honestly - don't come here to celebrate a special occasion or to have a nice day of relaxation. The facilities aren't as nice as other hotels for the exact same price, whereas in other hotels you get to hang by the pool with a nice view, music and full bar services, and here you can only use the gym Olympic pool! Zero view, just people working out while you're trying to relax. If sucked.
I got a massage here yesterday. The spa itself is the reason for an average review. To charge over $400 for a treatment (my massage was fine, not great) and facilities be sub-par is truly disappointing. It is extremely small and cramped. There was NO WATER to drink (you had to walk toward reception to a water dispenser), no cool towels, no mats on the floor to prevent slipping. Attendants were scarce. This felt like a Marriott, not a Waldorf Astoria. There are plenty of other spa options in the area- I recommend going elsewhere if you’d like an elevated spa experience.
A waste. Amenities were slightly nice, but not worth the hype. Charges for a mani and pedi were miscommunicated on the website and in-person. Ended up being $350. Nail polish is natural, so there is no option for gel or dip. Pictures show day 2 of my nails - one is already chipping away and another is cracking underneath.
My wonderful sister treated me to a deep tissue massage and I will be forever grateful. Deborah who was my massage therapist was truly amazing. The entire experience was one in which I will always remember. It was obvious that Deborah was a master from the onset. Blessed with healing hands. I would encourage anyone embrace the opulence of being cared for.
