Vinarosa Resort & Spa

This is a hard review. The place is full of potential but like many hotels post pandemic it suffers from organization, management and lack of on-site experience (despite amenities). I will note that this review is more critical given the high prices to stay at this property. The poor review is an amalgamation of a large number of small things. The potential is around a few intrinsic characteristics of the property and design decisions. The good: The rooms were tastefully remodeled, especially the bathrooms with soaking tubs. The setting in the vineyards with the path for guests is not common and you should use it every morning. The morning fog in the vineyards gives you that Petaluma Gap feeling and the clear sunsets at night the Sonoma aura. The trees, landscaping and general feel

The grounds and resort were so welcoming! I had an immediate sense of relaxation. The rooms were very well appointed with every amenity needed (even a clothes steamer)! The food and beverage served in both the catered arena as well as at John Ash were spectacular. The housekeeping team showed care and concern with their daily routines. The linen and pillows on the beds made it difficult to get out of bed each day! So comfortable. Morning walks in the Vineyard got the day off to a great start. Highly recommend!

From arrival to the resort to check-out on departure day, my resort stay was impeccable. The grounds at Vinarosa Resort made it feel like a true wine country experience with over 92 acres of working vineyards. The newly renovated guest rooms were super spacious and ultra luxurious and the fireplace was definitely an added plus to keep the room warm during my January stay. I love that all the guestrooms open up to a patio or balcony to enjoy those gorgeous vineyard views. The cuisine at John Ash is amazing with hearty dishes, my favorite were the chilaquiles and all the savory vegetarian dishes. I look forward to my next stay!

This is a very beautiful hotel/spa. I enjoyed the views from all over the property. The hotel staff was amazing and extremely helpful and attentive. The food was unparalleled, and a lot of the food grown there on property. This was a business trip and even their conference area was beautiful and spacious with lunches in garden. When I come back it will be more for relaxation. Thank you for everything!!

What an oasis. You pull into the resort and you forget about the rest of the world. The grounds are impeccably maintained and it is so nice that you can walk out of your room and into the vineyard and get a great self paced walking tour. The QR codes were great in teaching about all the varieties of grapes. The room was fabulous. Very well appointed and comfortable. We ate at John Ash for many meals. Everything was excellent from the food to the service. Overall a 5 star stay and we will be back!
