During the Covid lock down he switched to a number system where you take a number and then only come in when your number is next. Last time I went there were no numbers to grab and no one was waiting outside. I thought, "Oh, he must have gotten rid of his number system." I walked in and he started berating me on how I needed to take a number. I tried to explain that there were no numbers and it was misunderstanding on my part but he cut me off and the berating continued and left before he could finish. I will not be coming back.

Good old fashioned barbershop. Great conversations! Love supporting local folks who have been running their business for over 40 years! You don't see that much anymore. Thanks for the great hair cut! I highly recommend if you are looking for a no nonsense haircut. FYI only Cash or Check no cards.

My go-to place for a haircut. I'll be honest, I haven't shopped around much for different barbershops, so I can't provide much of a comparison. I say that's a point in their favor, though. I've been getting my hair cut there for 15 years now, and I've got no complaints.

Best place in town for a no-frills haircut. Actually does a good job and cleans you off afterwards so you aren't super itchy for the remainder of the day. Will continue to go back.

Best barber in Juneau. After dozens of times getting terrible uneven cuts from some of the other places in town I found this guy who does it exactly right every time and he makes great conversation. He is cash only so come prepared.
