Vas Barber Shop

This is NOT a good place for young children!!! My husband brought my 4 year old there today (0906/2025) and the barber (a female) didn’t do a good job at all. She was paranoid about her things breaking (Xbox controllers and such) and didn’t know how to distract my kid. Mind you, he has a habit of holding things for comfort and why leave those things out if you don’t want children touching them? It was his first time as a toddler/young child getting a cut at a barber and I wish I had him go to one of the places in the Somerville or Cambridge area where his friends go. This place may be fine for older children or children who are not as sensitive. $33 for a terrible job where the hair around the ears is long and the hair is barely trimmed. Vas barbershop is the best in town! Exceptionally clean shop with a welcoming feel. Niko, Vas and Sarah are all masters at their craft. They will give you the care and attention you deserve. Top notch service, great conversation and high quality cuts are why Vas Barbershop is the only place I go.

I’ve been getting my hair cut and beard trimmed by Vas for multiple years, even before he opened his own barber shop. His work is always amazing and he always takes his time. Big bonus for their online booking as well!

Niko did a great job cutting a young boy’s hair. He listened to what the boy wanted and the boy was very happy with the cut. The location is convenient, clean and spacious. I would recommend this shop.
