I booked a 60-minute "lymphatic drainage massage," so it's important to emphasize the term "massage" since this experience was far from that. A proper lymphatic drainage massage involves gentle, rhythmic hand movements that help stimulate lymphatic fluid circulation throughout the body, to which you can add infrared lights to help the lymph system. When I arrived, I lay down on the treatment bed, and the lady simply placed infrared lights on my stomach and inner thighs before leaving the room for nearly the entire session. There were no attempts to manually engage my lymphatic glands or encourage fluid movement-there was no physical contact whatsoever. This was a SCAM

I had the most amazing experience at Varua Spa. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere was serene, beautifully decorated, and instantly relaxing. I have had an operation (liposuction) with terrible results and Raquel was able to help me out through cavitation, radio frequency and lymphatic drainage. Now, i look amazing and my skin integrity is back to normal. Thank you!

This place is awesome! They really understand and make sure that you are pampered and made to feel that you are the MOST important person there. They strive to make sure your visit is perfect and relaxing. I LOVE this place because of the personnel. I feel like I am going to my best friends home and being surrounded by those I feel comfortable with! Obviously aside from being extremely professional from the best facials to best couple massages .. It’s been a couple of years since I see Raquel and she is just the best. That’s why I’m usually patient, but this experience showed a clear lack of professionalism and care for the customer. From the moment I redeemed my Groupon, scheduling was a headache. All communication is handled via text (which is disclosed in the Groupon fine print), but their process is unnecessarily difficult. Instead of asking for your availability, they offer one date and time at a time, and you have to keep declining until something finally fits. If I could give Varua med spa zero stars I would because they didn’t even honor my appointment. I was refused service as I purchased through Groupon and they did not honor my booking. They do not answer the phone. I tried to book over the phone multiple times, but since I kept getting their voicemail, so I booked online instead: I had my appointment scheduled for weeks drove all the way to The appointment where their door was locked and closed and I stood outside for over 10 minutes in the blazing sun.
