Urban Escape Salon & Head Spa

I recently came here for a head spa treatment with Connie. Seeing her, she was just as excited as I was. I had never had this kind of treatment before and Connie did a great job explaining in depth what was to be expected throughout the treatment. She even used a camera to show me my hair follicles and did a wonderful job at explaining the health of my scalp and hair. She used the treatment she thought would be best based off of that. During the treatment, I felt so relaxed. The massage was very soothing. I could tell how passionate Connie was about not only her job, but the well being of other throughout my time there. Would definitely recommend.

I had the most incredible experience at Urban Escape Salon and Spa with Connie. She was absolutely amazing — so knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. I did a head spa treatment with a mix of rebalancing and detoxifying scalp and hair therapies, and it was hands down the most relaxing, out-of-body experience I've ever had. Connie took the time to explain everything and even recommended the rebalancing shampoo, which I purchased and have been loving. I left feeling completely refreshed and renewed and have literally been telling everyone to go book this service. I will 100% be back and highly recommend Connie and Urban Escape!

Alyse is an excellent stylist who clearly cares about her clients. She is professional, attentive, and skilled. The salon itself is lovely with a relaxing atmosphere. The whole experience is top notch from beginning to end. Highly recommend this lovely gem located in downtown Mankato!

What a gorgeous place and wonderful service!! This is by far the best salon experience I have ever had. After I booked my appointment, Alyse texted me to ask if I had any inspiration pics for my hairstyling. Alyse's aunt styled my hair for professional photos exactly like my inspiration pics (including adding baby's breath flowers), and it came out absolutely stunning! I loved the atmosphere of the great music, decor, and even having some drinks available. I am so grateful that I saw the salon downtown and decided to book here because I will definitely be a returning costumer. 10/10
