This store has everything a sister needs! Not to mention they stay up to date with the best products on the market. I recently went for one thing and found that they already Have Bask & Lather products on the shelf and I was so happy that I don't have to wait for it in the mail anymore! I always buy my supplies from them, and will wait to do so just to support this husband and wife duo. And they have excellent customer service skills!

I've been coming here for almost three years now. I can trust this beauty supply to always have a variety of braiding hair colors as well as an assortment of hard to find textured hair care brands/ products. The prices are also the cheapest on the island. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

OMG the owner of this shop is so kind and he made me feel very welcomed while shopping for a wig. He was attentive to every customer so he has great multitasking skills. He answered all of my questions and HE ALLOWED ME TO TRY ON WIGS. Staten Island is the only borough that don't allow people to try on wigs and it's ridiculous I'd like to try before I buy and at urban beauty it's allowed. The rude service at the beauty supply store on forest avenue next to stop and shop is disgusting and now that I've found urban beauty I will never go back to the forest avenue hair shop ever again. I HIGHLY reccomend this store they have a wide variety of beauty items and perfect customer service, THANK YOU 😄

I love this beauty supply store. The workers are very friendly and helpful. They pay attention to who is in the store but I never feel like I’m being watched. If I need help then they come. A great local beauty supply store, one that is needed in every surrounding neighborhood.

I really love this store. As a licensed cosmetologist for 20 yrs I find it to be the best in the island. Better than some Asian owned places. The quality and range of hair is excellent and the young kids that work there are very respectful. The only reason i can't give 5 stars is they changed the times they open.😩 Sometimes I had emergency orders for my clients and i would pass the one in Stapleton to make the 10-15 min drive over there at 9am. But i guess not enough people came in at that time.🤷🏾‍♀️ But overall ❤️
